The voice of one crying in the wilderness:
“Prepare the way of the Lord;
Make straight in the desert
A highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted
And every mountain and hill brought low;
The crooked places shall be made straight
And the rough places smooth;
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed,”
We are now humble, healed, and complete. It’s time to now see the fruit of it all.
Definitions (see: AHLB):
Glory is kabod (H3519):
Lord is Yahweh (H3068) which is the name of God. Lastly, revealed is galah (H1540):
Huh.
The weight and heaviness of YHVH will be exposed and lifted up.
We can exercise a little forethought here and understand that this weight (glory) that will be revealed is Yeshua.
There are a few layers of revealing (revelation) that take place as the Messiah is uncovered.
With each step, more and more of His importance is exposed. The weight of His identity grows and grows within us -- if we believe what He says, what He’s done, and what He will do.
Imagine for a moment that you were humble, healed, and complete. You’d then see what was happening in the Spirit and abandon everything this world has to offer. It’s like when Elisha opened the eyes of his servant to see what was happening not only in the physical but the spiritual, as well:
2 Kings 6:14 So he sent horses, chariots and a large army there; they came by night and surrounded the city. 15 The servant of the man of God got up early in the morning; on going outside, he saw an army with horses and chariots surrounding the city. His servant said to him, “Oh, my master, this is terrible! What are we going to do?” 16 He answered, “Don’t be afraid — those who are with us outnumber those who are with them!” 17 Elisha prayed, “YHVH, I ask you to open his eyes, so that he can see.” Then YHVH opened the young man’s eyes, and he saw: there before him, all around Elisha, the mountain was covered with horses and fiery chariots. 18 When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to YHVH, “Please strike these people blind”; and he struck them blind, as Elisha had asked. 19 Next, Elisha told them, “You’ve lost your way, and this isn’t even the right city. Follow me, and I’ll take you to the man you’re looking for.” Then he led them to Shomron. 20 On their arrival in Shomron, Elisha said, “YHVH, open the eyes of these men, so that they can see.” YHVH opened their eyes, and they saw: there they were, in the middle of Shomron.
A lifting takes place that changes absolutely everything for this young servant. His ability to see what was happening in fullness instantly removed the fear that had overtaken him. We should learn from this lesson.
If you can’t see it, then we need to take you back to the removal of pride from your life.
If you can’t see it, then we need to get you healed.
If you can’t see it, then we need to walk you into a place of completeness.
The revelation of the One to be lifted up must be received if you are to enter into this next season. This isn’t revelation as in, “Oh, yeah, that’s really cool what Yeshua did.” It’s more like, “Oh my goodness! How is it even possible the Creator of the universe would offer up a perfect sacrifice on my behalf?! While I was his mortal enemy, He still had compassion for me. I am so not worthy of that kind of love and yet, here I stand -- completely loved.”
This is the kind of revealing that changes lives. In fact, it saves them.
The most amazing uncovering of all took place that day the Messiah died in your place: the veil in the Temple was torn.
Matthew 27:50 But Yeshua, again crying out in a loud voice, yielded up his spirit. 51 At that moment the parokhet (veil) in the Temple was ripped in two from top to bottom; and there was an earthquake, with rocks splitting apart.
The Holiest of Holies, the place where God Himself dwelt, was uncovered. No longer was it restricted to just one man one time per year. No, it was opened up through the blood of the final High Priest. And we now have access to that very heavy space.
If you don’t understand the weightiness of this, then I encourage you to listen to the voice crying out.
Abba has established authority within you out in the wilderness and it’s there you are crying out.
Calling others to turn from their ways and follow THE Way. And that way is the Messiah. It’s the Torah.
Understand this all begins in darkness and no one will see clearly. But you are called to make a taught path full of a necessary tension. And this path is to rise high above everything else. Do it for our God.
Bring shalom to those that try to cover their pain with pride. This comes with a definite introduction to healing. Lift them up and help carry their burdens. But those that have lifted themselves above others must be brought low in order to be made complete. Introduce healing and teach humility.
Bring shalom to those that have esteemed themselves above all others. Teach them about the Messiah and His righteousness. Teach them the Ways of God. Show them how we are called to walk as Yeshua walked as He is our model for walking in the Ways of God. Then give them a mirror and ask where the Messiah is in that person looking back. Can they see Him? Do others see Him through them? If not, why? Have they ever seen themselves through the eyes of God? Do they understand their true state before Him? Or is it the fear of man that has them in bondage? It’s time for them to confront the truth.
Tether one end of their cord to His truth then pull aggressively on them to straighten the crooked places. As uncomfortable as it is, let it hurt. Don’t make excuses and avoid trying to medicate. The resulting pain will produce something you never will -- dependency on Abba.
Once this happens, we then address the internal brokenness that has them close but still functionally separate from God. The part of them that is still connected to the world must be put to rest. An impartation of identity, specifically as the Bride, must take place in order for them to abandon their old ways in full. Tie up the broken halves so they can be complete, with no fractures.
They are now humble, healed, and complete. We are in a state to not only be welcomed back into the covenant, but the weight and reputation of YHVH has been revealed to them. The blood of the Lamb now gives them a way into the presence of the Father. It’s obvious they can’t go in broken and they can’t go in prideful. But humble, healed, and complete? Now they are ready to see God.
